Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use the FitExerciseDB API to:

• Bulk-export the dataset. Fetching all exercise IDs sequentially or via pagination beyond your tier's quota in order to mirror our catalog is prohibited.
• Redistribute or resell the data. The dataset, raw or repackaged, may not be made available to third parties as a standalone product.
• Train ML/LLM models on responses without a separate, signed license agreement.
• Combine with other datasets to create a derivative public dataset that competes with FitExerciseDB.
• Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or anti-leak measures (including key rotation to evade caps, distributed-key scraping, or stripping canary fields).
• Violate applicable law or use the data in any discriminatory, harmful, or unlawful application.

Enforcement

Each API response includes a per-account canary field embedded by our backend. If we discover redistributed content matching your canary, we will:

1. Terminate your account immediately
2. Pursue civil remedies for breach of contract
3. Refer to law enforcement where applicable
